2025 RAM 2500 — Full Audio System Upgrade
A complete KICKER sound system transformation, professionally installed at Absolute Audio in Bel Air, Maryland—with the factory radio retained.
Better Sound. Factory-Style Appearance.
This newer truck needed a system built around its cabin and modern electronics. We combined upgraded speakers, dedicated amplification, an under-seat subwoofer system, and door sound treatment to bring more clarity, output, and bass while keeping a clean, integrated appearance.
Equipment in This Build
Front speakers: KICKER KS Series 6x9 component speakers.
Rear speakers: KICKER KS Series 6x9 component speakers.
Rear headliner: 2¾-inch midrange speakers in the factory rear headliner locations.
Subwoofer system: KICKER 51KRDL7102 dual-subwoofer enclosure underneath the rear seat.
Amplifiers: KICKER LX500.4 four-channel amplifier and KICKER LX1650.1 mono subwoofer amplifier.
Factory integration: PAC Audio AP4-CH42 AmpPRO interface.
Door treatment: SoundSkins sound-deadening material.
Factory Radio. A New Listening Experience.
The PAC Audio AmpPRO interface connects the aftermarket system to the factory radio, allowing the original radio to stay in place. Careful integration is a key part of upgrading a modern truck: the equipment needs to work together as a complete system.
The under-seat enclosure adds a dedicated bass system while making practical use of cabin space. SoundSkins treatment in the doors helps reduce unwanted vibration and supports a more controlled listening environment. The installation photos below show the attention to detail behind the finished system.
